Fast Screen Recorder

Records a Windows screen, a chosen area, the microphone, and system audio, and can grab a screenshot. Recordings save as MKV and can be converted to MP4 and other formats.

Who it is for

People on a Windows PC who need a simple recording of a lesson, a meeting, or a short tutorial.

Price and free tier

The publisher says the desktop trial is free to download, and a paid license unlocks the full program. The license page describes a one-year, one-PC subscription with no watermark and unlimited recording time, but the dollar amount did not appear in the page text, so the paid price is unverified. A separate browser recorder on the same site is capped at 2 minutes.

A trial can be downloaded free, and a 2-minute browser recorder exists. The page does not spell out which desktop limits stay until you pay.

Watch out

This is a Windows desktop app. The page lists Windows 11, 10, 8.1, and 8. The paid price did not render on the license page. The Visit link opens a reseller checkout, so read that price before you pay. Do not assume the free trial exports without limits.

Last verified 2026-10-15. The paid price was not clear enough to publish as a number. Open the official page before you pay. The Visit button on this page is an affiliate link. This listing is not a sponsored placement.
