Perplexity
ResearchBeginnerFree tierPrice unverified
Answers questions with sources attached, and can dig further on the paid plan.
- Who it is for
- People who want a starting list of sources and will open those sources themselves.
- Price and free tier
- A free plan exists. The paid price is unverified because Perplexity's own pages did not agree on October 14, 2026. The Pro page showed USD 17 per month with annual billing. A Perplexity page at perplexity.ai/hub said Pro costs $20 a month or $200 a year.
- Basic search is free, with tighter weekly limits than Pro.
- Watch out
- Use the number on the Pro page while you are logged in, not a screenshot from a roundup. Answers can cite a real page and still misread it. Open the link.
Last verified 2026-10-14. The paid price was not clear enough to publish as a number. Open the official page before you pay. This listing is not a sponsor and it is not an affiliate link.
